The Parish News is a weekly syndicated, experimental, free radio show that gets aired on radio networks. Hosted by Andrew Backhouse, the show plays avant-garde and unusual music, field recordings and noise.

We work to bring you sounds that you will not have heard before.

While the presenting style is Guerrilla and ambivalently irrelevant, the music is always spot on. We source the music and other recordings ourselves, often paying for them out of our pocket. If you wish to become a Patron of The Parish News, to ensure its longevity, then be sure to head to The Parish News’ Patreon Page. The link is in the menu. If you want to syndicate the show, please see the relevant link in the menu.

We have an open ear here at The Parish News. If you want to be considered for inclusion on our playlist, be sure to send your sounds as MP3s to Andy at [email protected] We recommend that you use the free file transfer service www.wetransfer.com. It is free, and you will be able to transfer up to 2GB of music.

Thanks for listening! x
